One (1) 16,925KW ISO base load General Electric 5001 LA gas turbine generator unit manufactured in 1968 and placed in utility service and having 8,928 total fired lifetime hours and 944 starts. The sound attenuated unit is skid mounted in an outdoor enclosure. The unit presently operates on fuel oil #2 or can burn lighter distillates, but can be converted to natural gas or dual fuel. The combustion turbine is direct connected to a 26,280 horsepower General Electric Type S-524A. 5105 to 3600 RPM main reduction gearbox which drives a 21,176 KVA @ 80°F, 886 amp General Electric  Model ATB-2, 3/60/13,800 Volt air cooled synchronous generator. The unit comes with diesel engine starter, inlet air silencer, exhaust silencer, lubrication oil system, air blast lubrication oil cooler, turbine/generator control system, synchronizing system, alarm annunciators, instrumentation, generator protective relays, main circuit breaker, and motor control centers. Drawings, operation and maintenance manuals are included. The approximate ISO base load performance is: heat rate of 14,120 BTU/KWHR, an exhaust temperature of 944°F and an exhaust flow of 215.6 LB/SEC.
