CONVERTIBLE TO GAS

One (1) 2200KW, 2812KVA Allison 501K-14A Gas Turbine Generating Set.  Unit is skid mounted with enclosed, sound attenuated gas turbine compartment, open gear and generator.  The gas turbine is designed to run on light #2 oil.  Turbine is direct connected to a 4680HP Falk reduction gear, input RPM 13,839, output RPM 1200, S.F. 1.0 with 11,532 ratio.  Connected through couplings to an Allis Chalmers A.C. generator type AB, 480V, 3380 amps, 1200 RPM, 60 Hz; Excitation: 250 volt, 59 amp.  Unit is equipped with governor; air starting system consisting of motor driven compressor and diesel driven compressor with starters and air receiver tanks;  engine control panel; lube oil system; and Allis Chalmers main breaker panel consisting of 600V, 4000 amp air circuit breaker, Westinghouse protective relays, and voltage regulator.  Manufactured in 1969, unit has 635 hours of use since new and 957 starts.
