Qty. 1 – Unused 4500KW, 5625 KVA continuous Kato brushless AC synchronous revolving field generator, with a direct connected rotating brushless exciter. Kato Model AA28181000, Type 4P12-2600, S/N: 20922, 3 phase, 60 hz., 7200/12,470V, 260 amps, 0.8 P.F.1800 RPM. 4 pole, 6 wire Wye; Temperature rise; 80°C/40°C ambient by RES. Duty: Continuous; Insulation: Class “F”; Rotation: CWFDE; Bearing design: Dual split sleeve, with external lube; Enclosure: Weather protected Type II. The generator is of the independent two bearing design, with a shaft extension suitable for direct drive. Equipped with PMG for 300% short circuit protection, 240V single phase space heaters, terminal connector stand-offs in outlet boxes, 100% solid epoxy vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) including rotor and stator iron. Six (6) RTD’s imbedded in stator winding, two per phase, 100 ohm platinum, and two (2) bearing RTD’s, one per bearing, 100 ohm platinum. Class “F” winding insulation; Class “B” temperature rise by RTD. Exciter data: Field amps: 7.1; Field volts: 100; PMG volts: 240; PMG Hz.: 180.
