The Solar Taurus 60 " Generation One" is designed for fast delivery and quick installation. Each set is enclosed portable skid/platform-mounted, operating on natural gas. Dual fuel option available to run on diesel fuel. SoLoNox combustion system on natural gas sets. Complete with all associated turbine inlet and exhaust systems, transformer, fire suppression systems, and related ancillary support items. Each set comes equipped with a Power Control Room (PCR) building and associated ancillary equipment. Units are in excellent condition with very low run time hours. The units have been in minimal commercial operation. This Power Plant is a platform-mounted gas turbine, and one of the largest mobile turbines offered in the power systems industry. It can be transported easily by ship, rail or road and can be quickly reassembled on-site for application such as temporary peak shaving, plant shutdowns, equipment maintenance or emergency power during natural disasters. This power generation package is also suitable for long-term and fixed energy generation applications. Each Taurus 60 gas turbine can produce 5.2 megawatts of clean power. It features a modular design with plug-in connections for quick setup. Because the trailer/platform-mounted system does not require a concrete foundation, it is easy to redeploy to other sites as needed. The Taurus 60 Mobile Power Unit comes with a range of control system options for remote operation and SCADA compatibility. The unit is dispatchable to be on-line in six minutes, making it well suited to peaking applications. Utility-grade switchgear and a programmable protective relay module are standard. Based on the proven Taurus 60 industrial gas turbine design, the mobile power unit utilizes Solar's SoLoNox combustion system for low emissions. The Taurus 60 Mobile Power Units can be configured for gas, diesel, dual fuel operation. Further environmental features include a low-profile design and a sound attenuated enclosure system. The Taurus 60 industrial Power control systems, fuel generator (IPG) compact rugged gas turbine generator has been or site designed to meet the requirements for industrial power generation applications. The unit is provided as a completely integrated module ready for installation.	The gas turbine engine, gearbox, generator system, lubrication system, start system, is and ancillary equipment needed for site operation on natural gas are included with each unit.

Each package includes a sound attenuated enclosure for the turbine generator and a power control room including accessory (PCR) building to house all generator and turbine control functions.	The Taurus 60 gas turbine engine is a single shaft axial flow engine. The output gearbox, including accessory drive pads, in a separate, closed-coupled unit located at the inlet end of the turbine.

The components of the Taurus 60 engine maintained in accurate alignment by mating flanges with plot surfaces and are bolted together to form a ridged assembly. The compressor rotor shaft drives the speed reducing gearbox. Accessories, depending on the application, and support the starter motor. The gas turbine output shaft is mechanically connected to both the compressor and turbine sections of the engine to form a "solid" or "single" shaft configuration. This feature enhances speed stability and response under constant and varying load conditions-a highly desirable feature in generator applications requiring precise frequently control.

The Turbotronic control system is provided and is highly integrated programmable logic controller (PCL) based control system. The control system is installed on the package frame to minimize interconnect wiring. It includes a microprocessor, remote communications modules; chassis based and Flex input/output module, power supplies and hardware backup shutdown system. Integrated monitoring and control of the generator is provided using a specially designed module in the PCL to receive input data from potential and current transformers. The system calculates real and reactive power, power factor and variable required for synchronization.

An automatic synchronizer is provided with the control system to automatically synchronize the unit to the bus through push button control on the digital control panel (DCP) or by receipt of an appropriate remote signal. A synch check relay is provided as an addtional permizzive and for backup protection. Rais/lower voltage puch button control is provided on the digital control panel to control a motorized potentiometer for voltage control. An additional control voltage from a remote location. A KW controller monitors accessories can be easily be transported the load imported from the utility source and adjust the generator set fuel flow to maintain a pre-set level of imported power on the utility at all times.
