The boilers are a 2-drum, bent tube type referred to as an "O" design, composed of a 36" I.D. steam drum and a 24" lower drum, bent tube type referred to as an "O" design, composed of a 36" I.D. steam drum and a 24" lower drum with 2" O.D. tubes. Each boiler has a total heating surface of 5,270, sq. ft., of which 736 sq. ft. are in the waterwalls and were built in accordance with ASME Code and bear N.B. and H.S.B. stampings. The boilers are equipped with a TODD Combustion Variflame low NOx fully automatic burner for gas/#2-6 oil firing, forced draft fan with a 60HP motor, 3/60/480V, with starter, fully automatic electronic combusion and feedwater controls, Fireye microprocessor flame monitor system, 1/60/120V, control circuit transformer, I.R.I., F.M. and N.F.P.A. approved. Fuel consumption: 9.0GPM on #2 Oil, 8.4 GPM on #6 Oil, 80,000 SCFH on natural gas. The valve trim consists of: (1) 2" electronic feedwater control system with 21/2" globe bypass valve, (1) 21/2" stop valve, (1) 21/2" check valve, (1) 1/2" feed control system drain valve, (1) Clark-Reliance LWCO and auxiliary LWCO with bypass, (1) Clark-Reliance water column assembly with high and low alarm, water gauge and valves, tri-cocks and drain valves, (1) 1" continuos blowdown control valve and stop valve, (1) 1" chemical feed valve, (1) 3/4" steam drum vent valve, (2) 2" Consolidated safety valves, (1) additional 4"safety valve connection, (1) 11/2" Edwards blowdown valve, (1) 81/2" Ashcroft steam gauge, as well as miscellaneous valve trim, regulators and controllers. Burner and controls are metal housed with an extended rainhood cover. (1) 8' high x 42" dia. stack with rectangular to round transition piece is included. All integrally mounted on a drop-check, triple -axle trailer.
