One (1) 80,000#/hr. Nebraska, 750 psig D.P., Package Watertube Boiler, Model No. N2S-6-70. Capable of operating at pressures between 250 to 725psig. Boiler is a 3-drum, Type "A" composed of a 42" I.D. steam drum and two 24" O.D. lower drums with 2" O.D. tubes. The furnace volume is 1675 cu.ft. The boiler has a total heating surface of 5977 sq.ft. of which 796 sq.ft. are in the waterwalls. Built in accordance with ASME Code and bearing N.B. and H.S.B. stampings. The boiler is equipped with a Todd low NOx Variflame fully-automatic gas/#2-6 oil burner, forced draft fan with 100HP TEFC motor, 3/60/230-460V with starter, fully-automatic Moore Electronic combustion and feedwater controls, Fireye E100 microprocessor flame monitor system, 1/60/120V control circuit transformer, I.R.I., F.M. and N.F.P.A. approved. Fuel consumption on #2 oil is 12.5 GPM, on #6 oil is 11.5 GPM, and is 110,000 SCFH on natural gas. The valve trim consists of: one (1) 2-1/2" Fisher feedwater control valve with 2-1/2" globe bypass valve, one (1) 2-1/2" stop valve, one (1) 2-1/2" check valve, one (1) 1/2" feed control system drain valve, one (1) Clark-Reliance LWCO and auxiliary LWCO with bypass, one (1) Clark-Reliance W-900-EA5 water column assembly with high and low alarm, water gauge and valves, tri-cocks, and drain valves, one (1) 1" continuous blowdown control valve, one (1) 3/4" chemical feed valve and stop valve, one (1) 1" vent valve, two (2) consolidated safety valves per ASME code boiler protection, one (1) 1-1/2" safety valve connection for operation at lower pressures with blind flange, one (1) 1-1/2" superheater safety valve, two (2) 1-1/2" Yarway blowoff valves. Boiler has provisions for future sootblowers, one (1) 6" Ashcroft steam gauge, as well as miscellaneous valve trim, regulators and controls.
