One (1) Centrico Model OSA20-02-066/20 lube oil purification system consisting of (2) purifiers mounted on a welded steel platform with all the ancillary equipment required to process and discharge lube oil. Designed for tandem operation of both machines or operation of only one centrifuge. Cross connections exist for the product feed and discharge only. The air and water feed is common to both machines. All discharged water and sludge is collected in the tank built into the platform base. The platform deck is constructed of .250 in. flat plate, recessed below the top of the perimeter beams to provide a “drip pan” to collect spilled fluid. The purifier is equipped with a self-cleaning disc type bowl, used for the clarification of liquids or the separation of liquid mixtures. The bowl is open and closed through the action of a solenoid valve in the operating water line that is controlled by the VESB programmable logic controller. The bowl is equipped with a separating disc that enables the oil/water mixture (of varying densities) to be processed without having to re-adjust the separating zone. The centrifuge is driven by a flange mounted motor. Power is transferred to the bowl spindle by a centrifugal clutch and worm wheel gear. All bearings splash lubricated from a central oil bath.
